Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)

We are working with a highly regarded building services consultancy who are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their healthcare building services design team in London on a hybrid working basis.

This consultancy has offices across the UK and are professionals in the industry, they are recognised as one of the best at growing their staff through their CIBSE award-winning training and development programme.

Within this role you will be expected to:

• Provide input on design strategy and conceptual design relative to mechanical installations

• Report to the project lead

• Provide support to other members of the engineering team

• Design mechanical installations to meet all existing, relevant British Standards, Building Regulations and other relevant standards

• Work as part of a team to meet and deliver projects in the healthcare sector

Candidates should have:

• 3-5 Years' experience in a building services consultancy

• Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering

• Experience ideally working on healthcare projects but not essential

• Experience working with larger complex ventilation systems in both new build and refurbishment developments

• Excellent organisational and communication skills
